Bryon did a wonderful job on our son's destination wedding in the Smokies. From the engagement photos to the sweet nighttime shots in the mountains after the reception, their pictures are just beautiful!

Bryon did our engagement photos and photographed our wedding on 10-8-16. His pictures are gorgeous. He made the process fun and easy. If I had questions he always had an answer. His prices are reasonable. You would be hard-pressed to find another photographer with as much talent and skill that Bryon has. He's down to earth and friendly. He worked with our 7 year old son and two dogs during our engagement pics. He was professional and so patient! If you are looking for the best photographer - look no further. You found your guy.

I cannot speak more highly of Bryon Black, his phenomenal work behind the camera, and just the kind person that he is. My top priorities in wedding planning were venue and photographer. I refined my search on The Knot, scoured every page, and checked out every single photographer from my results. No one seemed to be the right fit until I got to the LAST page of results and found Bryon Black. After looking at Bryon's pictures, I was very impressed. With everything Bryon offered in his "One Package to Rule Them All", the price was right! I began reading a little about Bryon, and he just seemed like a genuine, laid back person. After seeing several Lord of the Rings references throughout the website and his description, I knew we had to meet him! (My husband is obsessed with LOTR.) We were scheduled to meet Bryon, and he was exactly what we were expecting: laid back, genuine, fun, open to suggestions, and full of ideas. He brought his wife with him as well - another great personality with great organizational skills. We didn't need to look anywhere else. (I'm an insanely picky person who has a hard time making decisions, so it's amazing that Bryon left such a good impression on my husband and I that we didn't feel the need to look any further for a photographer.) Bryon was great at keeping in contact with us throughout planning! He helped us schedule our engagement session around the sunset, which was perfect! Bryon really has a knack of finding great backgrounds and creating poses for brilliant photos. I was skeptical of some of the things he asked us to do, but they ended up being some of my favorite photos! I quickly learned to trust him. By the time the big day was here (7/16/16), we had a solid plan in place with Bryon, Ashley, and our second shooter (chosen by Bryon and also awesome to work with)! They showed up on time - ready and organized - and worked around us to make the whole day go smoothly. They were calm, patient, and on their game the entire day! Bryon pictured everything I had asked him to, making sure to pay close attention to detail. He was there to photograph all of us getting ready (multiple locations), first look with bride's dad, first look with each other, first look with groom's mom, the church ceremony, formal photos at the church, wedding party photos between the ceremony and reception (which Bryon helped choose the location for, and it was perfect!), and the full reception. During the reception, I had multiple guests approach me, raving about how gorgeous my wedding photos were and how amazing my photographer was. I was so confused as to how they knew until they told me that (SURPRISE), while I was expecting Bryon and his team to relax for a bit and enjoy their dinner, Bryon was secretly editing some of the pictures from the day to put on display during the reception on a tablet. The pictures were breathtaking! We couldn't wait to see them all! Bryon got them back to us within the promised time, and we were not disappointed. Over 800 photos full of memories from our day! We loved looking through every single one of them! Again, I couldn't be happier with our choice in photographer, our wedding photography experience, and our wedding and engagement photos! If you want a photographer who is a genuine person with a knack of creating and capturing beautiful photos who will take the time to get to know you and your significant other as a couple and listen to you and not disappoint, choose Bryon Black!

After searching for weeks to find a photographer who's portfolio we liked, we finally came across Bryon. He is a fantastic guy who thinks of just about everything while still having an awesome laid back personality. Even with two very rainy days - both for our engagment session and our wedding day 9/17/16, Bryon was ready to go and captured some wonderful memories! The hardest part was definitely waiting for the pictures after our wedding! Bryon is awesome and I cannot say enough wonderful things about him!

Bryon was the photographer for my wedding and the engagement photos beforehand. It is not possible for me to stress what a truly fantastic job he performed. My now wife and I have been in plenty of pictures, mostly taken by ourselves, but I wasn't exactly sure what to expect going into the process. Meeting him for the engagement session, from moment one it was so easy to just be ourselves. He has a tremendous eye for opportunities and locations and a seemingly intrinsic feel for the lighting in the scene. Even with the rain that day he knew exactly what he was doing and I left confident our pictures would be special. I was not let down in the slightest. Fast forward to 9/17/16, the day of our wedding. Out of the dozens of small (and big) worries, Bryon was in no way one of them. He came in prepared, brimming with ideas, his wonderful sense of humor, and his critical eye. It seemed like he was everywhere snapping pictures of everything. The memories he preserved with his lens and the moments that he helped us to create will certainly live on beyond our lifetime. Throughout the entire process he was prompt and thorough responding to emails, quickly getting back to us to answer any questions that came up. Waiting to get our pictures back was the hardest part, because we knew just how fantastic they would be. Our guests were constantly asking us for updates on the pictures, everyone wanted to see them. Sharing them with friends and family was a real treat and we were given so many complements. I cannot recommend Bryon enough for any and all of your photography needs. He is a true professional and an amazing artist. I do not think that it is possible for you to go wrong by going with him.

Bryon did an amazing job with our wedding! We got married on December 3rd, 2016--it was cold, and the skies were grey--and i still got the awesome shots i was hoping for! He went out of his way to learn our style, and capture it in photos. He was professional, and still laid back enough to help us relax--couldn't have asked for better.

Bryon and his team did such an amazing job with everything relating to our wedding! While working to find a photographer we absolutely fell in love with Bryon's style and personality. He did everything to make our engagment pictures and our wedding day to go as smoothly and relaxing as possible! All of his work is abosultely incredible and he is willing to try creative lighting and positions which have turned out fantastic. Really I don't have enough words to say about how awesome Bryon is!

Bryon did our wedding photos for a September wedding. He went out of his way to take photos that matched our style, was incredibly patient, put in time before, during, and after the wedding for photos and his pricing was very reasonable!
